Germany has been Finland's largest trading partner since 2014 and, thanks to its proximity and value chain, is a natural market and trading partner for Finnish companies.

Finnish companies have good conditions to succeed in the German market. High competence, a positive image of the country and close relations between the countries contribute to the success of Finnish companies. The image of Finnish companies as reliable partners is emphasized in the conditions of global uncertainty and supply chain difficulties.

The corona crisis served as a catalyst for the development of the digitalization of the German health sector, and the current government continues this work.

To boost export from Finland, Germany and Finland will announce a new Call for Proposals for joint R&D projects in 2025, focusing on developing innovative products and applications with a priority on Health and Digitalization as well as Manufacturing industries.

NEW: The funding is 50 % Grant from the Finnish side and a grant according to the ZIM regulations on the German side.

Join us to hear more about the new developments on the German market. We will share detailed agenda nearer the event.
