Business Finland's services
We provide funding and expert services for companies registered in Finland that want to grow and enter the international market. You will not have access to our entire service selection right from the very beginning: instead, you will gain access to more services as you progress on your international growth path according to your goals. Start-ups and SMEs
Start-ups and SMEs that have the following can become customers of Business Finland:
- Finnish business ID and has genuine business activities in Finland
- Financial resources required for internationalization
- Versatile expertise and team: employs at least two persons full-time in Finland
- Willingness to grow on the international market
- Competitive edge on the international market
Register with My Business Finland and answer questions about your business. You will immediately know whether Business Finland is the right place to provide funding and internationalisation services for your business or whether more suitable services can be found with our Team Finland partners.
My Business Finland makes it easy to see which Business Finland or Team Finland services are best suited to your company's different growth stage.
Before registering, please note the following:
- My Business Finland (beta) is currently under development and is only suitable for start-ups or SMEs.
- My Business Finland cannot be registered on behalf of another company.
- You must have a valid right to act and represent the organisation (e.g. CEO, deputy CEO, sole signatory of the organisation). We will check the right of representation with the Trade Register.
- You can check and maintain your organisation's representation rights on the PRH's Virre service.
- As part of the registration process, we also check that your company's registration and obligations are in order. We check the information in the YTJ service.
Large-scale enterprises and research organisations
Large-scale enterprises can use our services especially to renew their business or create new networks. We also fund projects by research organisations, provided that the research results can be utilized by companies and they will provide the prerequisites needed for new business and international growth.
